16th Annual PossAbilities Triathlon

16th Annual PossAbilities Triathlon

Always with great pleasure I come down to participate in the PossAbilities Tri. The more I do them the more I appreciate how much work goes in it, specially behind the scenes… Thank you Cotie. Thank you Pedro. Thank you Christina. Thank you Patrick and everyone that donated time or whatever to it. Thank you Shawn for hosting us this weekend. Bless your hearts.

The race itself went great, cooler weather made it perfect to not overheat! I almost missed the beginning of the race because I was struggling to find a wrench and adjust my shoe cleat (of course it came loose right before the race, of all moments). This year Cyclery USA wasn’t there to help, so I had to ask to about 15 people until a great soul (Jim) saved my day – and my race! Thank you Jim. Had a solid run (the new socket feels awesome), a good bike portion (which on one hand was great with how light and responsive the new bike is; but I still don’t have the new bike socket -which affects performance a bit) and the usual swim (good).

I was the only participant in my category, has anyone seen “Talladega Nights”? –“If you ain’t first you’re last” was true this time!

All in all a great day, inflamed with joy by the company of my pregnant wife and our dog.
