I Enjoy This Season as WellTavian Bryant
I enjoy this time of the year. I won’t call it an off-season because the work never stops, but my next race is months away. There’s nothing like being in the midst of race season, but I like this season as well because I can work in a bunch of low intensity endurance rides. Once the season ended I was able to put together a string of training rides that resulted in my longest single day ride, the most mileage in a week, as well as a new personal record for mileage in a month. Another nice thing about this time of the year is that I find myself riding outside much more than I usually do. I prefer to complete my highly structured training inside, and riding inside also saves a lot time. As a result of these things I spend most of my training time inside, until summer when I find myself riding outside more than any other time of the year. My first race of the 2020 season will be in February in Arizona. Until then, I will sneak a few marathons and a time trial or two into the training program to feed the desire to compete.
