Borders still closed:-(

Greetings brothers & sisters!

I waited until today to post and try not to sound like a broken record.

Canada is still closed for non essential traveling, meaning races aren’t happening. The official government website was going to revisit this idea on Nov 21st, and the verdict is that they’ll stay hunkered down.

It makes sense. Covid cases are spiking up due to flu season in the northern hemisphere. This is not the time to be risking and traveling I guess.

But I am starting to miss it. I’ve been having so much fun with racing these last few years. It’s part of who I am.

Unfortunately it doesn’t look like it’s going to change anytime soon, and these race trips take a lot of planing, from the organizers to the athletes.

So… at this point, not sure what’s happening with the season. Does it make sense to even start at the end? Are they going to postpone Beijing 2022, due to the previous season? —it could happen… it happened in Tokyo 2020 right?!

We don’t know how long Covid is going to affect us. Let’s hang tight and stay safe and healthy. That is the priority.
