Day 1

Finally flying out to a race for the first time in a year. I am very excited and very nervous at the same time. Along with getting ready for a race, I am preparing to leave my wife and 2 year old daughter for the first time in a year. They are just as excited and nervous as I am. Excited because I am finally racing after spending so many hours of so many days of the last year on the bike. They are nervous because I am going to be gone. 

Once I arrived in Orlando, I get the van that will house all my equipment for the week and then pickup fellow Team PossAbilities teammate Owen Daniels. We are here and now I am getting super stoked. After so many races have been cancelled in 2020, racing is actually getting closer to really happening. 

I am very excited for this first racing journey in over a year and now in 2021. Even though I am excited, I already miss my girls. They are my biggest support system and I am very lucky to have them on my team.
