Dispatch from the Netherlands

Hello folks, it’s been a lovely “season” here in Landgraaf, 2 weeks of fun and also hard work at this indoor snow dome. 

I say fun because this place is beautiful, coaching has been superb, accommodations are great, the food is awesome and it’s always there ready for you. I don’t have to worry about anything besides working on my technique, fitness and getting enough rest. 

But I’ll tell you, it’s not a vacation! (a lot of people wished me happy holidays). You’re still up early, doing long sessions in the snow, on the skateboard outside and gym sessions as well. So it is very tiring, in a good way. You wake up all sore and it’s time to do it again; once the body warms up it gets easier to move. 

Overall is has been great and I’ve been improving in all aspects. So happy I got this opportunity; it takes a village of people helping so I get to come here; super grateful to everyone that is somehow involved in this. Thank you sponsors. Thank you wife and kids. Thank you mom (2 weeks quarantining in Panama so she could go and help w the kids).
