Spain World Championships Postponed:/

Hey guys,

updating everyone on my season; the original plan changed twice because of lack of snow in Europe. So frustrating! They do have snow, but not enough to build the courses (they need a lot!)
From Finland we would go to Spain for Worlds; so when that got postponed to March, we turned our focus to a World Cup & test event for the Paralympics 2026 in Cortina, Italy. We’d extend the trip for another week. I was on “cloud 9,” all excited I would go to the Alps to race and take in the views! Two days after my coach & I booked the tickets, they postponed that race also:(

So bummed! It was not bad, we decided instead to stay in Finland honing my skills on the snowboard cross race course, so it was very worth it! It just didn’t go like planned…

What happens now is that I’ll fall in rankings a bit; between family & work, I cannot take off for a race again (I had been gone for almost a month). It’s the juggle that we all do, I am grateful that I at least get to race at these amazing epic events!
