World Championships Here We Come

I have officially been named to this year’s World Championships roster! This feels like one of my biggest achievements yet for a few reasons. First, this will be the first time ALL cycling disciplines (the pros, etc.) come together in one location, at the same time. Secondly, I had my doubts at the beginning of the season as the standard time for my class (the time that is used to benchmark one disability classification again others to determine who gets to go to the event) got materially faster and harder to meet relative to most other classifications. It was really the last two months where I had to fight my body to take things to a much higher level to make this year’s roster. I truly feel more blessed that the Lord taught me what I needed to learn to get here than I have for previous World Championship events. God is good all the time…..all the time, God is good!

ALSO – this is the first event that all three Team PossAbilities Paracycling team members have been selected to attend the event together!
