Setting up for the Season

Setting up for the Season

Hey friends,

Hoping everyone has been having a good year end. Mine has been great: Training is going well, we had my parents visiting, work is good, everything is flowing.

The prosthesis socket problems I had are being worked on, and should be all ready soon so I can get the leg really dialed. The boot I broke during my last race trip couldn’t be fixed so warranty sent me a new one. Nice & stiff, just what I need for my upcoming races!

Snow close to where I live hasn’t been good yet, so I still haven’t been up there. I’ve been focusing on my program off mountain & cross training.

Come January I leave for Finland (exciting!!), we’ll have a nice block of training there and then races. From there coach & I go to Switzerland for another race —looking fwd to it!

February it’ll be more training and a few snow days in California, and on to the World Championships in March, in Canada. What a season!

Wishing everyone happy holidays!
