2025 World Cup 2 Race Recap

This is where I made my World Cup debut in 2023 and was my first race ever on the Team USA roster. I finished P-7 in the Time Trial, P-6 in the Road Race.

I came back in 2024 with Team PossAbilities support and finished P-4 in the Time Trial, P-3 in the Road Race. Getting on the podium last year gave me a good feeling coming back here in 2025!

This year was a new time trial course. When I pre rode this course days prior to the race, I knew that this was going to be a good one for me. There was one short, steep climb but more importantly, there were a lot of high speed sections leading into somewhat sharp turns. I enjoy this when we have a course where I can let my bike skills shine! I had a great race finishing P-3 and wish we could’ve spent more time on this course. I’m super thankful for the support that Team PossAbilities gives me that allowed me to land on the podium alongside the 2 best athletes racing for Spain and France.

The road race for this year was on the same course that I got P-3 on in 2024. With a hard start, the front 3 opened up a small gap very quickly. I was able to work with an athlete from Germany to keep them within site for the first few miles until they were gone. A few others were drafting behind us but from previous races, Me and my German competitor know we can work well together to drop others off the back which we did until it was just the 2 of us. Taking turns pulling in hopes of gaining on the 3 in front of us and opening a gap on the racers behind us. On the final lap, I was able to drop him and maintain a steady gap for the last half mile or so, securing P-4 in this race.

These results secured my spot on the Team USA roster for World Championships which is only 7 weeks away! I’ll go into more detail on that in my next blog so check back soon : )
