Hello folks, I hope everyone is doing well:)
I’ve been focusing each and every day on improving myself in some way, since I’m in midst of preparing to one of the most important seasons / events of my life!
To get to the Paralympics is hard work, it doesn’t happen overnight. I’m proud that I tried, and then tried again instead of giving up. And then I got there! Had I not tried or given up on the 1st failure, this feeling would have been stuck on my throat forever. That would be OK too, because at least I know I had given it my all when trying. BUT I’m so glad IT WORKED and I’ve gotten there, AND am about to go again —Milano Cortina 2026, we’re talking about you:))
I read this week that “Doubts kill more dreams than failure ever will” by Suzy Kassem and I love that quote.
My parents always inspired me to keep dreaming and never put limits on how far I could get. And look where I got!! A boy from a small town, far away from beaches or snowy mountains. And that never stopped from wanting experiences, exotic experiences you could say. I had some wild dreams and I went after them and here I am today, having more “pinch me” moments than I can remember.
And for that I am grateful. Thank you mom & dad for always letting me dream, and dream high. Thank you to my family and my Team PossAbilities family for always supporting me! You guys are all truly special.
