Team PossAbilities Celebration Dinner

As 2025 comes to a close there was one more very special event that I got to attend. I in fact attend this event every year and for me its one of the coolest events I get to be apart of. The event is our Team PossAbilities Celebration Dinner which is held at the end of every year. The celebration dinner is a chance for members and the family of those members to get a closer look at what the last year was like for Team PossAbilities as a whole. A chance to get a bigger picture of what Team PossAbilities really is. Which is a non profit organization that really cares about the disabled community. Attending these dinners gives others with disabilities the chance to feel like they fit in if they feel like they dont usually. It gives those with disabilities inspiration when they see others with there same disability living their best life. This is what really matters and this is what PossAbilities continues to provide for the disabled community. A sense of belonging, a drive to be better, and the means to do it.

Some of my favorite moments of the Team PossAbilities Celebration Dinner have to be the grant recipients for the year. Every year PossAbilities gives out thousands of dollars in grants to help those with disabilities. From sports equipment to home remodeling almost anything can be applied for in a grant. Then to watch. How happy all the grant recipients are is always special. My all time favorite during the dinner would have to be the mariachi dancers. It is a large group of mariachi dancers that all have disabilities but they do not let that stop them from dancing their hearts out. You can see how much fun they are having. They do a great job and have fun doing it. I also had the privilege of announcing one of the talents in the event so that is always fun for me.
