World Cup of ParaSnowboard Banked Slalom, Steamboat Springs, CO, USA

Hello folks,

Next on our agenda was a World Cup of banked slalom, excellent race & training before the Cortina Paralympics.

This venue for me is as easy as it gets, one direct (2hr) flight & a 3hr drive – too easy!

The course was fantastic, well built and we got to train on it for 3 days, which was awesome! Only problem we couldn’t control was the heat, it got too hot and even rained, but thankfully was the night after the races. 

The last few years it got clear to me and team that in banked slalom is where I need training the most – it’s the least kind of events (races) I’ve done, and really you only get this kind of training on these race courses. 

During all 2 races & training I got some valuable training, this trip was so worth my time and effort! Thank you to all my sponsors for again making it happen!
