Hello everyone! It’s amazing how time can get away from you.

Things got super busy in my personal life and business life, a level of constant work I’ve never seen before. This is why I spend so much time training my physical and mental endurance, so that when these challenges arise I can handle them.

Related to training I was able to maintain a high training volume of fencing, pilates, cardio, sauna, and cold plunge. This has also pushed my athleticism and conditioning to new levels. Without a doubt this is the best shape I have been in and it is starting to show. I completed a competition in Thailand and the athletic advantage was huge. Even against other professional athletes I was overwhelming them with speed and power and making up for the skill gap of decades of experience they have. In saber I was fast enough to retreat from people and saw looks of surprise on many faces.

This did translate to points on the board with my best performance to date. Fencing is structured in a very complicated scoring system that favors past performances and only rewards victory, so you spend a long time at the bottom of the pyramid then rapidly advance to the top. This competition was very close to having me jump from the bottom to the top and I will see this change this season.

I would like to thank PossAbilities and Cotie for their continued support, I would not be able to keep competing without them.
