New year – New challenges

Happy 2019 everyone, let’s wish and work for a great year for all of us! Winter is my favorite season! Temps here are not too bad -enough where you can wear puffy jackets if you want; surf is up -my favorite waves light up; weather is great for training; there’s rain -this year has been a great one, everything is green and water is gushing on creeks & falls! My snowboard journey has started, it is a moving process. All the [...]

Europe Dreaming

Dear friends, I’m here today to write about my 2 weeks of training in Portugal and racing in Italy. I met Brazil National Paralympic Team for a camp in Portugal, which consisted of eat-train-sleep-repeat. It was quite epic: Country side, beautiful roads to ride, amazing temperatures. These were intense days of swim-bike-run-gym in a state of the art facility that attracts teams of different sports & nationalities. We then flew to Milano and drove to an idyllic place called Lago d’Iseo. Stuff [...]

Very grateful and honored to be part of an amazing team. I was very strong raced well among a field of great competitive athletes from all [...]

2018 CAMTRI American Cup of Triathlon / Sarasota, FL

Hello hello, I just raced the PanAmerican and it was a VERY eventful one. First of all, they changed te date on the PanAm and that was not cool: we got a 6weeks notice –from originally going be hold in Brazil (in June) it changed to US (in March!). Timing on my training schedule was not ideal, but this was all political, what can we do? -Well, on my part I can only do my best, and honestly, I’m grateful I [...]

2017 – The Year In Review

Dear PossAbilities readers, another year is coming to an end, and what a great one it was! The idea is to always keep moving forward and that goes for anything in life I would say. During the winter time I did a lot of surfing, a couple days snowboarding and worked on my base fitness for the upcoming season. In March was the year opener, a banger in the form of a podium at the PanAmericans in Sarasota, Florida! That was good preparation [...]
