“Crazy Curves”: ParaSnowboard World Cup of Banked Slalom, Kühtai – Austria

Hello folks,  Today I’ll tell you about the Banked Slalom race we had in Kühtai, an amazing ski resort in the idyllic Tyrol region of Austria. 2026 Season Starter

Gutten morgen my friends! I arrived in Germany and was supposed to be on my way driving to Austria, to train for my 1st race of the year! But all my luggage had other plans and didn’t show up, so we’re staying put in a hotel until we hear from the airport, so we can collect the bags.  Better than going to a resort, where mail access is dependent on weather —it could be many days waiting until bags would show up.  This irritates...

2025: It’s a wrap!

Greetings friends, Today I was doing a recap on my mind of the past season.  It was definitely action packed and exciting, I traveled quite a bit and had some great results, and some not so much. 100 DAYS OUT TO CORTINA-MILANO 2026 

Good day folks, I hope everyone is doing good:) November is here, change of weather… That means I’ll be soon practicing in the snow and race season is coming! Chile Races & Camp = great training 

Greetings friends! I’m back from 2 weeks of action packed days in southern Chile. We went to Corralco again, where I had a total of 6 races. My low back was still achy so I kept up with stretching, mobility and strengthening exercises and improved to almost normal by trip’s end! History Repeats Itself :(

Hi guys,  Not so good news for me, I hurt my low back, again -a little bit of a setback.  The same, almost exact injury happened last year, about a month before I head out to Chile for a camp. Same story now.  As I was getting more fit, increasing the number of workouts on the loading phase pre training camp, the injury happened during a weight session. Milano – Cortina closer!

Hello friends, I got some great news. The path to Cortina 2026 Paralympics is in sight!  While no official announcements have been made, I learned I opened a spot for Brazil in Men’s Para-Snowboarding, for the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games. This is 1 of 20 coveted spots, the total in my category.  In other words, that should go to me, since I am the better qualified from Brazil in the international rankings:) This is exciting!
